In the event of damage or shipwreck, our innovate 8-legged walking jack-up barge WaveWalker 1 can offer a flexible, efficient solution when it comes to salvage of the vessel or cargo.
Able to operate bidirectionally while elevated, the WaveWalker 1 has been designed to deliver safe, secure marine salvage solutions in rough seas, surf and intertidal zones, shallow transition areas, on beaches and in areas of ecological significance.
Being unaffected by the weather or tides means that WaveWalker 1 offers a dynamic alternative to floating barges or self-elevating working platforms (SEWPs).
Salvage operations can be completed with reduced risks and costs thanks to the ability to relocate without tugs, and by providing live-aboard accommodation for crew.
Take a look at some of our recent work below, or get in touch if you want to find out how WaveWalker 1 can support your project.
